Brütsch Wealth Management is a member of VQF, www.vqf.ch. The VQF is one of the leading industry associations of independent asset managers in Switzerland and is under the supervision by the FINMA.

VQF

The Financial Services Standards Association (VQF) offers a full range of compliance services to financial intermediaries in the Para banking sector in Switzerland. As a centre of competence, the Association provides numerous supervisory, inspection, audit, training and advisory services to its members.

VQF Audit AG

As an audit expert accredited by the Federal Audit Supervisory Authority, VQF Audit AG provides inspection and auditing services in accordance with the provisions of Federal law and special legislation to members and non-members of the VQF.

SRO

As a Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO) officially recognised by the Federal Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), the VQF is obliged to supervise its members with regard to the combating of money laundering and the prevention of the financing of terrorism.

FINMA

FINMA Is Switzerland’s independent financial-markets regulator. Its mandate is to supervise banks, insurance companies, exchanges, securities dealers, collective investment schemes, and their asset managers and fund management companies. It also regulates distributors and insurance intermediaries. It is charged with protecting creditors, investors and policyholders. FINMA is responsible for ensuring that Switzerland’s financial markets function effectively.

BOVV

In its function as an Industry Organisation for independent Asset Managers (BOVV), the VQF supports independent asset managers with regard to compliance with standards in the asset management industry (link: minimum standards).
